UNLV Conciseness Study

The coolest courses I have ever taken were the Conciseness Studies with Dr Moody. I took every single class that was offered. Initially it was another professor that looked at things like drugs effects and mental illness. Dr Moody was far more interesting.

Dr Moody is known for his studies of near death experience study. He wrote the book on it literally. Life after Life is the name of the book. Subjects were very different. The first two classes were lecture and classroom classes. The discussion started out with the definitions of what conciseness is. Topics ranges from Monk trances. The time you know everything is going perfect. How time varies by how enjoyable or tedious it is. Pretty normal stuff.

The final two classes were 10 students, and we met in hi office which was a collection of strange and wonderful things. Learned a few things that stuck. ABCs are originally in order to go into a trance state. Repeating them again and again until the trance takes effect.

psychomanteum– amazing recreation of Greek speaking with the dead. It is in a dark place, mirror, dim light. Sit in it for 15 minutes and you will see things. Not what you expect but more than your imagination.

In the office we went through magic over the ages to alter consciousness or just interesting info. At the end of the last class we tried to get an genie in a bottle. We had the arabic words. The thing we lacked was a brass bottle. Before the internet. we tried to locate one, so we never got to try it.

From these classes I am one of the most credentialed paranormal specialist in the US. 18 credits. I didn’t finish my degree in history at UNLV. I went back to Ball State University. The paranormal classes were bunched into a philisophy minor.
