Circus Circus

This is a hotel you love or hate. No one is neutral about it. I had good friends stay there and the enjoyed it. As a player I found it annoying with kids screaming while playing near the pit. There were circus acts above the pit that were distracting. There is a smell like no other has. It was urine a mix of something else type of smell. The buffet was thr worst in Vegas. It was messy with all the unattended kids causing mayhem. Ironically or of the best steak houses is in the circus circus. The things going for it, it was dirt cheap, it allowed your kids free rein when you gamble. The slot machine were loose to their credit in those days. As a cab driver I staged there every night hoping to catch a long trip to the airport. The customer usually did not have luggage. They use grocery sacks. Those I didn’t geichof tip out of. However sometimes people who stayed there were good tippers. All in all I always voted for the hotel to be the next imploded, but it stands to this day
