There were many shows going during the time I was there. You could find Broadway shows, classic Vegas show with topless showgirls, and of course all the magicians. The best in my view was the Cirque du Soliel.
Magicians range from new acts playing places like Sahara, and downtown showrooms. They were cheap so they always had a full audience.
Classic showgirl show were at the Flamingo, and Tropicana. You could always get comps to these
World class Magicians. like Sigfried and Roy with their tigers, Danny Gans was playing a lot on the Strip. Sigfried and Roy came to abrupt end when a tiger attacked Roy. I was pickup people out of the show and they common thing they said was. We thought the tigers were pretty tame animas. When it bit Roy they all realized they were wild tigers. The audience fled the show room
My favorite shows were the Cirque Du Soliel. The original one at the Mirage was awesome. A lot of audience interactions from the moment you entered the theater had O. This was amazing with underwater members and the acrobats
They did so well that a lot more show were added to MGM properties after the bought all the Steve Wynn properties like Bellagio, and Mirage.
You could have went to 1 show a week and it would take months to see them all
