Palms casino had a cab driver/ limo driver preopen. We were given Palm dollars to gamble with at the tables. We got to tour every and try the buffet. The buffet was really good with more regions than most. I was exploring with 3 other cabbies. We had heard of the night club at the top with a see-through floor. We looked around for an elevator. We found one that went to the top.
When we go to the top we were in a kitchen and confused. The chef noticed us and asked how we got up there. She was cool when she realized it was securities fault to not close that elevator. We got a tour of the kitchen and got to sample a few things. They were very good. She showed us to the night club zone.
The night club zone was open air at the very top of the tower. I think 50 stories up if I remember right. There was a piece of thick glass on the overhang of the floor. I got on immediately ahnd jumped. I like thrills like that. One other of my friends got on it and looked down and his face went white in fear. The other two refused to step on it.
We then left the club through the correct elevator. Once we go to the bottom, we surprised a security guard who was preventing people from going up. We told him about the other elevator. He radioed and then they secured that one too. My friends and I were the only people to visit the club and restaurant on the top of the palms.
It was a fun 3 hour event.
