New Years Eve

IN the casino it is a madhouse. For instance, at Lady Luck Casino there were 3 craps table. The night shift which I worked starts at 10pm. Normally we had 1 craps table. Rarely the swing shift dealers had a game running, and we opened a second game. On New Years eve. all three craps games were running, and they were full of players. Every dealer that new anything about craps were on the third table.
Cocktail Waitresses were handing out free champagne. Everyone was drunk except the employees. We all were given 1 drink of champagne. It is highly annoying to deal with wall-to-wall drunks. at5 minutes to midnight everyone got their drinks. At 1 minute no one was playing any game. The casino roared at midnight. A lot of players headed to other casinos or their rooms. We shut down two craps tables. Just us graveyard dealers let. It was quiet the next of the night


Cab New years Eve

It was busy from 10 to 11. Everyone wanted to be in the casino they wanted party in.by 11:45 there was no one moving. Everyone was in their favorite casino.
1 minute after midnight everyone wanted a cab. Experienced drivers knew to be at the edge of casino. Never in the cab line. You lock the doors and roll the window down. Losts of people are desperate for a cab. You told the $100 plus the price of the rides. Someone paid it. All along the edge cab drives and limo drivers were making mega money.
The traffic was insane. Everyone wanted to be someplace else. I let someone off at Ceasar Palace before the count down one year. I got about 50 before the crowd locked me in place. One guy was smart. Before the countdown he had slipped me $100. I had my ride and a perfect place to see the fireworks. Soon as they ended the guy hopped into my cab. He wanted to go to Ballys. The casinos are close on opposite sides and down a little. It took a 1/2 hour to get 1 block on the strip.

These are the views I have on New Years Eve. I hated it. Even now I don’t do it. I don’t like to be around a lot of drunk people
