Average night as a cab driver

I worked the overnight cabs. I started at 6pm and got off 6am. Yep 12-hour shifts. I’d start at the airport getting people to their hotel. People were in a good mood normally. I did the airport shuttle until 8pm. Then I would hit the show breaks. Mirage had a good one. Mandalay Bay, Ceasar Place., and the Luxor always had a nice like of people needing to get back to their hotel. Tips were generous at this time as they were in good mood.
10pm, I started the search for Strip Club guys that would get me $20 each. Any hotel with a younger cliental was the target zone. It isn’t hard to convince fresh 21 yr old dudes to go see topless strippers and get drunk or see nude ones and drink soft drinks. I’d average about 3 a night. $60 is nice in the pocket to do with the tip. When 1am hit most cabbies just hopped into a cab line and slept. Me and 4 other cabbies staged at Deja Vu strip clubs. The reason was if someone was upset and no drinks, I would drive them 3 blocks to Spearmint Rhino which was topless with booze. The same worked there too. When they come out ask them if they want to see nude strippers. This is where got 2 or 3. In addition, we got free pop, use of a nice bathroom and we could see the naked strippers too. After 3 nothing much happened we would chat and generally relax or nap until 5:45.
